To highlight additional ministry opportunities for our
neighbors with local mission agencies.

Children & Youth Mission Team
Goals:
Ministry to Youth
To fulfill our obligation to the children we baptize, and to
their families.
Ministry of Youth
To support children and youth in their ministries within and
beyond the churches.
Nurture of Youth
To help children worship and come to know God.
The Children & Youth Mission Team coordinates
spiritual development activities such as Instructed Eucharist, service projects
like Banner Building and personal supplies for soldiers in Kosovo and Iraq, and
ministry of youth as participants in the annual Acolyte festival.
Christian Formation for Youth meets Sundays at 9:00 a.m. year-round. Both
Old and New Testament stories and concepts are explored through play-acting,
object lessons, music and visual media. Older youth learn to find their
way around the Bible. All ages discuss application of lessons to everyday
life.
