All praise for Jackson Kemper, who offered God his best
as tireless priest, and Bishop of all the Old Northwest.
He early came to Boardman and, faithful to his Lord,
he gathered here God's people for sacrament and Word.

Words by Fr. Kelly Marshall, written for the festival Eucharist to celebrate the life and ministry of Jackson Kemper on his feast day, May  24, 2009. To be sung to the tune of Hymn 231, By All Your Saints Still Striving.
